You know those worn out phrases or sayings that are old and dated. You know the ones: Yeah, those are just a few tip of the iceberg, day-old sayings that need to be thrown out the window and never used again. Cue Aaliyah song! Actually, there may will be many challenges that happen as you begin to take your dive. Your determination to push through is critical to your success.
But when you think about diving into your dreams and passions, you should really put your best efforts and your best self forward. Before actually going live with The Destiny Dive and launching the site, I did a lot of research, I spoke to some really good friends who were already bloggers, I made sure my site was how I wanted it to be and I created my social media pages that were dedicated to The Destiny Dive. I wanted to make sure that when I stepped back and looked at what I had created, I could really say that I put my best foot forward.
I knew that my audience deserved more than a half step on my end, and I also knew that in order to be successful with my blog and business I truly need to make sure that my best was being put on display. And you too should make sure that you are giving your best efforts when you decide to put yourself out there as well.
I mean think about it. Go ahead and think about that thing that you really want to do, that book you want to write, that group you want to form, that website you want to launch, that business you want to create, or that degree you want to start. Now be honest with yourself. Have you started writing the book, or contacting people you want to be a part of your group, or figuring out which company you want to host your site, or researched how to start a business, or looked up different degree programs?
Well guess what! You will NEVER accomplish the goal if you do not start taking the necessary actions to make the dream a reality. Well now is the time to pick it back up and shoot your shot my friend! But when I started hearing it, I started hearing it! I was very honest with you guys in my very first introductory post, Coming to the World Stage , about how before I took my dive I had my doubts. And my doubts really held me back from doing anything. So what I did was allow those doubts to silence me and make me try to kill my dreams.
When I think about all of the people who The Destiny Dive can help and touch I get even more motivated to keep going and tune out any doubt! Yes there may be some bumps in the road and some failures along the way. In fact, I expect them. But doubting myself, killing the dream, and not using my voice to motivate, inspire, and encourage others is simply not an option. This one here for some reason puts me in the mind of one those sappy, romantic movie lines which I love by the way.

At least you have pushed yourself outside of your comfort zone and are actually working to accomplish something. Well when it comes to you being successful and bettering yourself all around, you really should go the extra mile. Or lets say you want to take the dive and do something on a smaller scale like starting a modest candle company.
Maybe you would go the extra mile by offering your customers a sample wax melt with each purchase. Your success can be as great as you want it to be. And you truly can accomplish anything that you have your mind set to accomplish if you put in the work, time, and effort. Such an oldie, but such a goodie for success.

However you choose to look at this one, just know that you will need to do something a little out of the ordinary to start seeing success. Make sure that your prices are not only comparable to others in the business, but also worth you actually putting in the hours and money it takes to even snap the first photo.
Remember, you know how much your product is worth based on the quality. But on the other hand, time is not forever. When it comes to taking your dive into your destiny you really need to get out of the mindset that you can do it at a later time and date because that time and date is just not promised to you. And if you think you do have a good enough reason, is it really an excuse in disguise?
